COUNTRY PRIDE BAND ENTERTAINS AT CKM

Music, dancing, socializing and fun was the name of the game last night at Christ the King Manor. Country Pride band came to perform after dinner and our residents couldn’t wait for them to get there. Regardless of when we call, these guys are always willing to haul their equipment here and put on a fantastic show. We so much appreciate their devotion to our residents’ happiness.

PIZZA PARTY !

Every other month or so the activities department makes homemade pizza for our residents. There is always room for a good slice of pizza or two after lunch! We are complemented as making the “best pizza ever!” by many of our residents…it’s a secret recipe that is affectionately guarded…but we’ll share it with anyone!

WINE AND CHEESE PARTY !

The activities department held it’s first “real” wine and cheese party today. It was a much-anticipated event and turned out to be a great success. We served wine from the Laurel Mountain Winery and beer, as well as Sparkling Juice Cocktail and NA beer. We also served cheese, crackers, strawberries and grapes. All of this coupled with great classical music and wonderful conversation resulted in a fantastic afternoon! We will be doing this again soon!
