REYNOLDSVILLE PRE-K COUNTS

The Activity Room was a flurry of fun Monday morning when Christina Reiter, teacher at Reynoldsville Pre-K Counts, brought her students to CKM on a field trip. Along with her assistant, Doreen McKendree and the help of parents, they worked with the residents to stencil paper bags that will be used as Easter Baskets. They all shared a snack together and the residents were presented with a beautiful “stained glass” poster art flower the students had made previously. They plan to come again at Christmas to sing carols and we look forward to their next visit!

GEORGE MIKLAS FAMILY SINGERS

George Miklas, his wife, Jodi, and children Janalyn and Caleb, form the George Miklas Family singers. They helped us celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a wonderful array of music and song. Their traveling “harmonica” family boasts of having the largest harmonica in the world! George and his family are friends with Andrew and Anna Wheeler, both residents at Christ The King. They have a unique program specializing in southern gospel music and travel to many states for their performances. We were privileged to have them here and hope to have them again this summer.
