GREY KNIGHTS DRUM & BUGLE CORPS

The members of the Grey Knights Drum and Bugle Corps took time out of their busy day to perform for our residents before their appearance in the DuBois Fireman’s Parade.  Their home base is in Johnsonburg but their members are scattered throughout Pennsylvania and New York.  They perform at various festivities throughout the US.   Don Speaker originally scheduled the performance at CKM for one of our residents, Don McGonigal.  Don is the current president of the corps and two of his sons are also members.  It was a beautiful day and a spectacular performance with over 50 residents in attendance and many outside guests.  

NEW VEGETABLE GARDEN

The maintenance department at CKM built new vegetable gardens adjacent to the new activity room for planting.  Activities assists our residents grow tomatoes, zucchini, cabbage, peppers, cucumbers, and more.  The fruit yielded is never wasted and our residents look forward to their first fried zucchini and green tomatoes in their new activity room!
