ERIE DIOCESE YOUTH RALLY

Students from the Erie Diocese met at Central Catholic for a youth rally on Saturday, October 12.  They had a procession of the Blessed Sacrament from the school to Christ The King where Fr. Steve Schrieber of Erie held a Benediction outside. Residents of CKM and families joined the students for the veneration.

FALL LEAVES TOURS

Every year the activities staff takes our residents out on the bus to see the autumn leaves.  Although we have beautiful views right here at CKM, the bus trip to Parker Dam is a wonderful drive that is made extra special with a stop at the Minit Mart in Penfield for ice cream cones!

FALL DECORATING COMES ALIVE!

Our annual scarecrow making activity was as fun as we anticipated.  The activities staff helped the residents construct a happy family of scarecrows and then created a beautiful display for all to enjoy! Don't forget to check out our other fall decorations!

CREATIVE ARTS FESTIVAL WINNER

Agnes Keibler was awarded first place in her category in the 2013 Pennsylvania Activity Professional Association Creative Arts Festival.  Her talents have been highlighted in previous blogs and newsletters.   She was competing against all other entries in the state and we are very proud to have her here as she continues her art.  Agnes has sold many paintings over the last few months and has more paintings for sale in the activities room.  Please feel free to come and look anytime!
