Also on Wednesday, May 12, we held our annual balloon launch…and have already received a reply! A first grade class from Jackson Elementary school in Myerstown, PA found the balloons. They sent us a wonderful letter detailing how the balloons and note were found on the playground and had figured the balloons traveled 187 miles before landing. With the letter came about sixty hand made cards from the students which we passed out to the residents. It was a joyful treat!
Cool and windy weather kept the residents inside to watch the launch of the balloons.
