SCHOOL STUDENTS ENRICH THE LIVES OF OUR RESIDENTS

Students from Parkview Elementary School in Anita worked on a project to send cheer to our residents at CKM.  Bev Keeley, a teacher at Parkview and also the daughter of Jane Wineberg who is a resident at CKM, recruited third grade students to help with the craft.  Jane collected pinecones for many years and Bev was inspired by them to make these beautiful decorations.  They were passed out to our residents to brighten their winter days.  The project was done to thank Jane for her years of volunteering in the Punxsutawney School District and to Bev’s Aunt Gervin Wineberg who also resides here and has spent many hours entertaining her nieces and nephews.  Many thanks to all involved in this special project!
