'MY FAVORITE LIFE STORY'

On display during National Nursing Home week was another beautiful collage of "life stories" obtained from our residents.  The stories were written on tiny "books" and displayed on our B wing window for everyone to see.

Doyle Shepler…”Going barefoot all summer except for church! After church we’d get in the car and the shoes would come off!”

Lois Webster..." I was a coal miners daughter and in our little mining community we were like one big family.  It didn't matter what your nationality was, we all stuck together!"

Tony Rend…”As a child I had dreams of singing on stage and the famous person whose song I was singing would walk up behind me and join me in the song…in fact my dream came true for I was the opening act for many big named artists.”

Jeanne Carberry…”When my Uncle Jack came to live with us, he was more like a brother to me.”

Madeline Sawyer…”When Daddy got the cattle and helping him on the farm.”

Ann Cekovsky…”When we all went to Disney World when the kids were little. Also camping with the kids in the rain in a pup tent!”
