KID'S DAY 2018
Kid's Day 2018 had a "Summer in the Sun" theme and it was another fun day of fun and friends. Old relationships were rekindled and new ones were made while fun was had by all who attended. Thanks to the activities staff and the kids who made it a great day!

105 BEAUTIFUL YEARS
A special birthday was celebrated on July 21 of this year. Agnes Ward turned 105 years old and was joined by her family for this special celebration. On August 2 Agnes passed away and is now resting in the arms of our loving God. We at Christ The King were blessed to have her for two years and she will always be remembered fondly.
NEW ENTERTAINMENT
Phyllis Dunlap, a resident at CKM since early March of this year, recently had the pleasure of watching her grandson,Cory, entertain for our residents. The pride she felt was obvious as he played guitar and sang gospel songs for a full house. He is scheduled again for Saturday, September 8 and we thank him for volunteering his time and talent once again!
SURPRISE GATHERING!
On June 19 Gordon Bloom had a delightful surprise waiting for him for lunch. His bowling league planned and organized a surprise party and they spent the afternoon visiting and reminiscing. Gordon recently had the privilege of moving to Florida with his daughter and he will be greatly missed by residents and staff alike.
