MATT GABLER VISITS CKM

Matt Gabler, State Representative, recently visited Mary Parziale at Christ The King regarding a letter she received in 2008 from Governor Ed Rendell.  The Governor issued the letter when Mary's son, Carmen, passed away.  Carmen was recognized for dedicating his life as service to those in the DuBois community and as a counselor at the Coatesville Veteran's Hospital.  Carmen himself served in the Vietnam war as a medic where he earned a Bronze Star, National Defense Award, and the Medic Award. The Governor cited these and other accomplishments as he closed by stating,  "I offer my gratitude and admiration for all that Carmen Parziale gave the DuBois area and our entire state and the impact he had on the lives of countless citizens."  We Thank Matt Gabler for paying her recognition.
Mary, who has been a resident at CKM for over eight years, would be happy to share the letter, pictures, and memories with anyone who would like to visit her.
