Betty Betta was joined at Christ the King by members of the
Daughters of the American Revolution for their July meeting. While planning the meeting, members thought
it would be nice to have it at the manor to make it easier for Betty to attend and
also to surprise her by celebrating her upcoming 94th birthday. The
DAR is an organization whose membership is limited to ancestry of the
Revolutionary War. Their objectives are
to maintain historical preservation, provide education, and provide our current
veterans with patriotic volunteer service and Betty is extremely proud to be an
