Tom Berryhill is a most valued volunteer at CKM. He has been coming here since 2010 when his wife, Sonja, was admitted to our Memory Support Unit. He was here six days a week caring for her
and helping out wherever needed in MSU. Tom quickly became respected and loved
by residents and staff. After his beloved wife passed away in October of 2013 he continued to visit and volunteer for the
people he grew to know and love. Tom
comes to Christ The King Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week. He shares his
time with MSU and the activities department in our skilled unit but he doesn't
limit himself to those units or times.
Tom will come whenever and wherever he is needed – all you need to do is
ask for his help. Tom also is a key
contributor and volunteer for our team to “Walk to end Alzheimer’s” with a goal
this year to raise $2,000 himself!
